Jamie William Buzzard

Jamie William “Jarome” Buzzard, 48 of Orgas, passed away November 2, 2018 at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born January 9, 1970 in Madison, a son of Sharon “Kay” Cowley Buzzard and the late Hobert L. Buzzard. He was a Coal Truck Driver and enjoyed Hunting and Riding Motorcycles. In addition to his mother, Sharon, he is survived by his children, William Hager, William Mason, Jared Howell and Skye Buzzard; sisters Robin (Mark) Josef, Kathy (Jeff) Long, Sherolna “Pud” (Timmy) Moore, “Crickett” (Alex) Hill and Dustie Buzzard; brother George (Alex) Buzzard and Ean Buzzard; grandchildren Leland Mason, Mackenzie Hager, Selena Hager and Abree Hager; aunts Betty Payne, Carol Simpson and Lou Ann Halstead along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by longtime friend, Angie May. In addition to his father Hobert L. Buzzard, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa and the mother of his second son, Erica Mason; a sister, Laura Barker and grandparents Lucille Supanski, Kenneth Cowley. The family wishes to thank Kevin Sloan, a nurse in Open Heart Recovery at CAMC Memorial for all of his care, kindness and compassion during Jamie’s stay in the hospital. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Keith Full Gospel Church, Keith, WV with Pastor June Ferrell, Eugene Spurlock and Steven Chapman officiating. Burial will be in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Friends may call from 6-9 pm at the Keith Full Gospel Church on Thursday, November 8, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred.
