Obituary for Mamie Flo Pickens

Mamie Flo Pickens, 65, of Sandyville passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 following an extended illness.
She was born on July 3, 1953 at Buckhannon, WV a daughter of the late Warren and Ruth Helmick Johnston. Mamie was a housewife who enjoyed knitting, working puzzles, and listening to music, especially the Oak Ridge Boys.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dennis Pickens; daughter Lisa Burnem (Evan Hughes); Brother Lonnie Johnston; Stepbrothers Howard and Glenn Linger. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kolton and Jackson Hughes.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by step-sisters Louise and Helen Hinzman.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Jarrod Caltrider officiating. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
