William Joseph Kenny

William Joseph "Bill" Kenny, 38, of Ripley, passed away at home Wednesday evening following an extended illness. He was born May 21, 1975 in Virginia and formerly worked in manufacturing, including Century Aluminum. In recent years he worked in the oil and gas industry. Surviving: His mother, Arlene Pearson Ramsey of Ripley; Sons, Steven Jeffrey Fisher of Ripley and River Joseph Kenny of Ravenswood; Brother, Clyde Kenny (Elizabeth) of Ripley; Sisters, Sara Seitner (Allen) of Virginia and Wanda Burdette (Mark) of Fairplain; Niece, Abby "CrabbY" Burdette; Nephews, Alex Seitner and Mark Burdette; His long time companion, Shelley James of Ripley. Bill was preceded in death by his father, George Curtis Ramsey of Ripley. A service celebrating the life of William Kenny will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Herman Robinson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. In lieu of flowers please make contributions in Bill's memory to the Parchment Valley Baptist Church.
