Abbey Reyes

Abbey Reyes, 83, of LeRoy, WV peacefully went to sleep in Jesus on June 15, 2025.

Abbey was born in the Philippines on August 13, 1941; a son of the late Antonio and Genoveva Reyes.

Abbey is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Angelina Reyes; his sons, Frendell (Glady) Reyes and Froy Reyes; his daughter, Frulwinn-cheer (Bryan) Collick; brothers, Antemio Mendoza and Teoding Mendoza; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

In addition to his parents, Abbey is preceded in death by his sister Marietta Carace and his brother Ped Reyes.

Abbey was known as an avid gardener, enjoying the fruits of his labor and enjoyed playing chess, scrabble, and tennis in his spare time. He was also an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church who served in ministry for 45 years throughout the United States, Canada, and the Philippines. He will be missed dearly and remembered as a faithful husband, loving father, and devoted follower of Jesus.

A service will be held at Waybright funeral home on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 5:30p.m. with a viewing held from 3p.m. until the time of the service.
