Agnes Marian Carter

Agnes Marian Carter, 75, of Ripley passed away at CAMC-Memorial Division Friday, September 11, 2015 following a short illness. She was born October 23, 1939 in Marion County, Maryland to the late John Edward and Josephine Farrell Carter. She was Roman Catholic by faith and worked as waitress throughout her life. She is survived by her children Michael (Dorothy) of Reva, VA, John Marshall II (Robin) of Martinsburg, WV, Tim Martin (Tammy) of Winchester, VA, Mark Anthony (Frances) of Charleston, WV, and Tammy Marie of Ripley; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by the many members of the extended Farrell family. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Marshall Carter Sr. In honor of Agnes's wish she will be cremated.
