Alberta Coast Lupardus, 82, of Sandyville passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at Ravenswood Village following a short illness. She was born April 17, 1935 in Sandyville at the family’s farmhouse where her sisters were also born. She was a daughter of the late Otis and Katy Finch Coast. Alberta was a loving mother; grandmother and sister who loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to spend time in her garden. For many years she attended the Sandyville United Methodist Church and more recently attended at Independence United Methodist. She graduated from Gilmore High School with the class of 1951. Alberta is survived by her son Chris Lupardus of Houston, TX; grandchildren Phillip Lupardus of Orlando, FL and Kassidy Lupardus of Delaware, OH; Sisters Lila Faye Collins of Pennsboro, Delores Cox of Mineral Wells, and Alice Pickens of Parkersburg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Ana-Maria Lupardus and Brother James Coast and his wife, Ann. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Jarrod Caltrider officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
