Alice Elizabeth Casto

Alice Elizabeth Casto, 67, of Ripley, passed away Monday afternoon at home following a long illness. She was born October 23, 1945 in Jackson County, daughter of the late Daniel and Belva Simons. In addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Alice also worked as a dietician at Jackson General Hospital, retiring after many years of service. Surviving: Her husband of 51 years, Donald Dwight Casto; Sons; Donald Casto Jr (Roberta) of Leroy, Johnny Paul Casto (Rhonda) of Ripley and Christopher Rocco Casto (Jeanette) of Evans; Brothers, Charles Simons (Debbie) of Virginia, Carrol Simons (Patsy) of Spencer, Ray Simons (Kim) of Sandyville, Donald Simons (Barbara) of Leroy, Darrell (Diane) Simons of Ohio, and David Simons (Brenda) of Ripley; Sisters, Doris Blankenship (Donnie) of Leroy and Carolyn Stiwald (Curt) of Ohio; Seven grandchilodren and five great-grandchildren. A celebration of the life of Alice Casto will be Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home with Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Interment will follow the funeral at the Mt.
