Amber Crihfield

Amber Crihfield, 31, of Kenna passed away on August 9, 2026 after a courageous battle with Osteosarcoma. She was born in Cleveland, OH on July 15, 1995 to parents Clayton Smith and Crystal Keen.

In addition to her mother, left to cherish her memory is her husband of 5 years and companion of 10 years, Ethan Crihfield; sons, Oakley (5), and Landyn (2); daughters, Izabella (8), and Iris (7); sisters, Chelsy Braham, Alexis Smith, Jessica Smith, and Candice Benson; father-in-law, Ricky Crihfield and many other nieces, nephews, and loved ones. Amber loved to spend time with her family, and was a fan of Disney, Harry Potter, and all things girly. She especially enjoyed making arts and crafts with her children and enjoyed caring for the children at her daycare. She also loved spending time with all of her sisters.

Preceding her in death is her father; her beloved grandma, Margaret Smith; and her mother-in-law, Miki Crihfield who cared for Amber as her own.

There will be a funeral service at 3p.m., held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Waybright funeral home. Visitation will be from 12p.m. until the service. Burial will follow in the Crihfield-Rhodes Cemetery in Kenna, WV. In addition to flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to the Osteosarcoma Institute at osinst.org and/or consider donating towards final expenses in their time of need.
