Anna Marie Boggess, 73 of Liverpool, Jackson County, passed away November 26, 2022 at her home following a long illness.
She was born December 31, 1948 in Grantsville, WV, daughter of the late Earl and Orvie Falls Wayne. She was a homemaker and a Christian who enjoyed praising the Lord in song and prayer, spending time with her family, canning, gardening, taking walks, jigsaw puzzles and paint by numbers. Anna also liked watching old westerns and Hallmark movies. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church and enjoyed attending services at many local churches.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Neil Boggess, daughter, Lisa Simms, and siblings Macel Cabell, Lloyd Wayne, Nolan Wayne, Frank Wayne and Larry Wayne.
She is survived by her son, Robbie N. (Lisa) Boggess; sibings Mazel “Cricket” Nichols and Jerry D. Wayne; grandchildren, Codie (Katie) Goodrich, Tanna (Corey) Gilchrist, Mattia (Zack) Miller, Jared (Vicki) Cochran, Emilia (Derek) Summers, Garrett Boggess and Calista Boggess; great grandchildren Kinsley and Cholee Goodrich, Laine Gilchrist, Rayna and Illyana Cochran and Zaiden, Nora and Atrix Summers.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Clark Samples officiating. Burial will follow in the Liverpool Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
