Arlene Ramsey

Arlene Ramsey, 78 of Ripley passed away October 4, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg following a long illness. She was born August 26, 1943, daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Saffell Pearson. She was a homemaker and attended the Parchment Valley Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Sara (Allen) Seitner , Clyde (Elizabeth) Kenny and Wanda (Mark) Burdette; brother Samuel E. Pearson II; sister Dorothy L. Bright: grandchildren, Steven Fisher, Mark Lewis Burdette, Alex Seitner, River Kenny and Abbigail Burdette; great grandchildren Kaden and Kobe Fisher; long time special friend, Gary Fluharty and long time best friend, Dottie Ramsey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Ramsey; a son, William Kenny and a brother, Cary Pearson. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
