Arnold Fields

Arnold Keith Fields, 75 of Statts Mill passed away November 20, 2023 at Mountain View Care Center in Ripley following a long illness.

He was born January 8, 1948 in Statts Mill, son of the late Ova and Elva Fisher Fields. Arnold enjoyed trading with people especially guns. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and in his younger days he attended the Vista Church.

He is survived by brothers Romie Fields of Kentuck, and Charles Fields of Millwood; sisters Evalene Pauley of Ravenswood, Iva Walker of Ripley, Sharon Crihfield and Alta Crihfield both of Kentuck, Alma Combs Apple Grove, OH and Thelma Mace of Cottageville; He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Filbert and Holly Fields and sisters Dotty Jean Fields and Nancy Carney.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating. Burial will be in the Woodfell Cemetery, Statts Mill. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
