Beatrice Wimmer

Beatrice Schweitzer Wimmer, 101, of Columbus, Ohio, resident of Sandyville, WV died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV after a short illness. Bea was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on July 7, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Wimmer, a daughter Norma Colliver, a daughter Carole Douglas, a grandson Charles "Chuckie" Colliver and a son-in-law James L. Waybright. She is survived by her daughter Doris Waybright with whom she lived for the past seven years; son -in -laws Richard (Claudia) Colliver of Columbus and Paul (Pat) Douglas of Norwalk, Ohio; grandchildren Randy (Anna) Colliver, Steve (Beth) Douglas, Lori (Bart) Schwab, Christopher (Jennifer Keane) Douglas, Melissa Waybright, Jill (Ron) Adams , Melinda (Greg) Yates; great grandchildren Travis (Amanda) Colliver, Trevor Colliver, Ryan Bowles, Courtney Bowles, Nicholas Gordon, Alex Gordon, Bijou Douglas, Arlo Douglas, Allison Douglas, Aaron Douglas, Lewis Yates, Katlyn Yates, Blake Yates and Audrey Yates and several great-great grandchildren; nieces Diana Fife, Marilyn Harris; nephews Herb Long and Howard Schweitzer. Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, WV. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Perrine presiding. Committal service and Interment will be held at the Glen Rest Cemetery, Reynoldsburg, OH at 2:30 pm on Tuesday following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ripley Baptist Temple, 320 Charleston Dr., Ripley, WV 25271.
