Bertha M. Perdue

Bertha M. Perdue 94 of Sandyville, formerly of Decota, WV, a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Christian went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2013 while surrounded by her family at her home. She was born October 25, 1918 a daughter of the late Tony and Leona Simms Sanford. Her joys in life was being a mother, grandmother, going to church and being a devoted Christian. In additon to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Perdue Sr. She is survived by sons Robert (Rita) Perdue Jr., William (Tammie) Perdue; daughters Wanda (Patrick) Jarrell, Clara Duffield, Mary Perdue, Patty (Danny) Pauley and Thelma (Mark) Lancaster; brothers Dallas (Bonnie) Sanford and Rush (Sandy) Merritt; sister Linda Sanford; Thirteen grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Al Mendez officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
