Betty Jean Bailey

Betty Jean Bailey, 82 of Sandyville, was called home on July 17, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born May 4, 1934 in Sandyville to the late Emmitt and Macil Casto Fields. Betty was a devout Christian who was very bold in sharing her faith, and a member the First United Pentecostal Church in Ravenswood. She spent many years working in Home Health Care and worked for Buck Stove in Ripley. In her spare time she enjoyed her many beautiful flowers and watching birds outside her window. She was an avid fisherman at heart and loved her little dog, Toro. Next to her Lord, her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and friends. Betty is survived by her children Keith Radcliffe and Sandy Shepherd of Sandyville; grandchildren Tonya (Scott) Jones, Danielle (Cody) Rhodes, Nathan (Rachel) Radcliff, Faith (Evan) Jobes, Angela Wines, Christopher (Casey) Wines and Robert (Shani) Radcliffe; great grandchildren Isiah and Madison Jones, Carter and Wesley Rhodes, Eva, Anna, Josiah and Isaac Radcliffe, Morgan, Cohen, Etta and Aggie Jobes, Gabrial and Alex Radcliffe; sister Norma Barnette and brother Junior Fields as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dan, a son, Rick Radcliffe; a a son-in-law, Phil Shepherd, sisters Josephine Kincaid, Madeline Hill, Carmaleita Kerns, Madge Vickers and great granddaughter Nora Beth Jobes. Funeral Service will be 11 am Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor David Johnston officiating. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
