Betty Ellis

Betty Ellis, 91, of Ripley, WV went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2026, at her home. She was born in Fairplain, WV; the daughter of the late Basil and Dessie Casto. Betty worked several jobs, but her favorite was being a housewife.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Lossie Ellis Jr. and brothers, Marvin Casto and Bill Casto.

She is survived by her children, Jeff and Connie Ellis of Ripley, and Monica and David Mullins of Ripley; her granddaughter and special caregiver, Chandra Eplin and her husband Bruce; grandson, Marshall Swisher of Ripley and granddaughter, Danielle and Jason Friazier of Parkersburg; and six great-grandchildren.
