Betty Lou Hutton, 85, of Murraysville, WV, passed very peacefully into the arms of Jesus on April 13, 2023, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.
Betty was born January 27, 1938, the daughter of the late Omer and Faith Staats Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Hutton, brothers Don, Bob, and Rudy Anderson, sister Sandra Reed, brothers-in-law Keith Hutton, Mike Hall, and Pete Petersen, sister-in-law Barbara Anderson, and granddaughter Amber McIntyre.
She is survived by her sisters Helen (Cookie) Hall and Janice Petersen, brother-in-law Lee Reed, sisters-in-law Patsy and Marcia Anderson, Mary Townshend, and Carol Norman, Aunt Faye Kuhn, daughter Jill Leggett and husband Virgil, and son Eric Hutton and wife Bonnie. She leaves behind a granddaughter Erica Hillyard, grandson Josiah Leggett and wife Jamie, and great grandchildren Kylie, Luke, and Natalie McIntyre, Gracie Hillyard, and Hunter and Waylon Leggett. Also, one great great grandson yet to be born, Kolter McIntyre.
Betty loved the Lord, enjoyed her family, and was an excellent homemaker and cook, baking pies, cakes, and hot rolls. Her hobbies were sewing, flower gardening, canning, making jelly, photography, playing piano, and singing.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Viewing will be at Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley, WV, at 11 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 19, with graveside services following at Casto Cemetery, Fairplain, WV, at 1:30 pm, officiated by Enoch Pursley.
