Betty Lee Vannatter

Betty Lee Vannatter, 86 of Ripley, passed away July 26, 2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, following an extended illness.

She was born June 22, 1938 in Charleston, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Savage Mullins. Betty enjoyed working crossword puzzles and she was an avid mystery fan.

She is survived by her children, Anna Gandee, Paula Mancini and Bernard Ross; grandchildren, Sean Ross, Michael Gandee, Amber Marshall and Adam Gandee and niece and caregiver, Helen K. Bird. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Vannatter; a son, Gwynn Ross II and siblings, Nancy Phillips, Mary Ann Ross, Nancy Sue Rucker and Samuel Gary Mullins .

Her request for cremation is being honored and no service is scheduled
