Billie Adams

Billie I. Adams, 89, of Ripley passed away January 15, 2025 at her home with her loved ones by her side.

She was born January 2, 1936 in Boone County, a daughter of the late Frank Queen and Minnie Bell. Billie operated Adams Accounting for 50 years and was also a member of the VFW and Moose. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and sailing in her spare time.

Billie is survived by her sons, Mark (Sherra) and Rick Darrough; grandchildren Joshua Darrough, Cazra Guy, Erica Voges, and Magen Jade Arms; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Carl Adams Sr.; Rick and Marks father, Rayburn Darrough; brothers Frank Jr., Irelan, Elbert, Ray, and Jack Queen; sisters Madgie Queen, Ida Robertson, Mary Coldiron, Marie Kuusinen, and Estella Johnson; and infant daughters, Pamela and Ruth Ann Darrough.
