Billy Eugene Chancey

Billy Eugene Chancey, 87, of Ripley, WV went to be with his Lord and savior on November 27, 2025. He was born on December 15, 1937, in Fairplain, WV; a son to the late O’Dell and Gertha Chancey.

Family members left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lisa Pauley and her husband Steve; brother, Bobby Chancey and his wife Carolyn; sister, Wanda Bush; grandchildren, Morganne and her husband Dalton, Megan and her fiancé Ryan, and Mason; great-grandchildren, Vander and Jude; and a special friend, Rick Miller.

In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Chancey; sisters, Freda Good and Doris Wilson; and brother in law, Martin Bush.

There will be a funeral service on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 2p.m. at the funeral home with visitation held from 12p.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Keenan Goosman will be officiating and burial will follow in the Fairplain cemetery.
