Billy Owens Iii

Wilbert “Billy” Franklin Owens III, 42, of Parkersburg passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born August 15, 1979 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Dinah Angus Milan and the late Brian Hunter. Billy had many hobbies that includes collecting antiques, Legos, going on drives out in the country, photography and fishing. He also enjoyed attending Renaissance Fairs. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly. Billy is survived by his mother, Dinah Milan; brothers Jerry Brown (Tara), Caleb Owens, Mykel Milan and Preston Milan; sisters Amy Brown, Chelsie Fast (Cody), Teniece Forbess (Danny) and Devan Johnson; grandfather Lewis Angus; nieces and nephews Jerry Brown Jr., Owen Hackney, Riley Speece, Jordan Speece, Destiny Speece, Trelyn Hackney, Dylan Forbess, Preston Forbess, and Aliece Forbess; great nephews Jace Alexander and Braxton Creed Brown. Billy is also survived by several aunts and uncles. In addition to his father, Billy was preceded in death by grandparents Patty Angus, Helen and Jay Hunter and a nephew, Eddie Casto. Funeral service to celebrate Billy’s life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 16th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Preston Milan officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Pleasant Home Cemetery, Belleville.
