Bobby Eggleston, 73 of Ripley, passed away September 9, 2021 at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born July 10, 1948, in Hinton, WV, son of the late James and JoAnn Lilly Eggleston. He was Detail Manager at Jack Garrett Ford with 27 years of service. He enjoyed Fishing and being with his family. He was a Christian and loved to preach and teach Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife Tammy Hersman Eggleston; mother-in-law Patsy Hersman; sisters-in-law Anna Batten and Mischell Hersman; Brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Angie Hersman; son and daughter-in-law Tyler and Sarah Levering; sister and brother-in-law Jean and Johnny Taylor; sister-in-law Nora “Tiny” Eggleston; brother Jim Eggleston; sons J.R. Scott and Bobby Scott; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and two special little buddies, Ryker and Jovi; special and dear friends, James and Ruth Parsons, Keith and Terri Holmes, Tilly Cole, Gary and Sandy Walker, Phil and Trudy Jones, James and Susie McCune and all of his church family whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by father-in-law Roy Hersman, brothers-in-law Rick Batten and Roger Hersman; brother Jerry Eggleston and sister Polly Turner. In honoring his wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is serving the family.
