Bobby Price, 85, of Kenna, WV, passed on March 12, 2026. He was born on January 4, 1941, a son of the late Joe and Maysel Price. “We lost a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, but he is now with his Lord and Savior rejoicing in Heaven.”

Bob is survived by his wife and best friend of 58 years, Betty Price; daughter, Dr. Sarah J. Price (Andrew) Rosen; granddaughter, Lillian J. Rosen; sister-in-law, Kay (Richard) Price, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by brothers, Russell (Garnet) Price, and Richard (Lois) Price as well as his sister-in-laws; sisters, Kathleen (John) Young, and Thelma M. (Dexter) Jarrett as well as his brother-in-laws.

Bob was a veteran and very proud to have served his country in the United States Army. He retired from the Postal Service where he made lifelong friends and also served several times as the president of the Charleson Postal Credit Union. After retiring, he and Betty became entrepreneurs, traveling to fairs, festivals, and local vendors who sold their famous “Sugar Creek Recipes” and “Country Heart” delights. They were known for their salad dressings which Big R in Ripley kept on the shelves.

In Bob’s spare time, he enjoyed hunting, golfing, farming, and especially spending time with his loved ones. Bob and Betty attended Goldtown Community Church and when they were not able to attend in person, they watched the service online every Sunday.
