Bobby L. Skeen

Bobby Lee Skeen, 77 of Cottageville passed away August 29, 2023 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV.

He was born March 2, 1946 in Gay, WV son of the Norman and Twyla Blaine Skeen. He served his country in the US Army and served in the Vietnam Conflict. Following his time in the Military he worked for the Charleston Gazette as a District Manager. Bobby enjoyed watching racing. He was a member of the VFW Post 5501 in Ripley and served as the Post Chaplin.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Harper Skeen; his sons Bobby L. Skeen II and Joseph Skeen; sister Lola Brantley and brother Thomas Edward Skeen.

His wishes for cremation is being honored and a Memorial Service will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
