Bobby Ray Wayne, 68 of Sandyville, passed away at his home suddenly on January 4, 2019. He was born on October 24, 1950 in Ripley, a son of Frances Palmer Angus and the late Bobby Brooks Wayne. He worked 30 years on Drilling Rigs and 24 years as a Mechanic at Edwards Trucking and Al-Rec. He loved to go Catfishing with his kids and friends and enjoyed tinkering in his garage. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by an infant son, his step-father, Billy Angus, sister Sherry Dillon and step-brother Doug Angus. In addition to his mother, Frances Angus, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mildred Blankenship Wayne; children, Rocky (Melissa) Blankenship, Teresa (Rob) Belcher and Kevin (Nikki) Wayne; siblings Connie Dees, Brenda Harrison, Dianne Lowry, Karen Coffman; step-brothers Norse Angus, Terry Angus and Joe Angus; step-sister Rita Hill. Also survived by four grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many friends. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Bernard “Bud” McVey officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Leroy.
