Bonnie Lou Serls

Bonnie Lou Serls, 72 of Kenna, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2024 following an extended illness.

She was born December 22, 1951 in Akron, Ohio. She was a nurse and caregiver and a member of the Sissonville Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Nelson Serls; mother Pauline (Teel) Casebolt; father William Casebolt; sisters Brenda Kay Woods and Evelyn Serls; brothers Jack Woods and Blly Casebolt and granddaughter Loucreasey Rayhill.

Survivors include her daughters Julia Anne Williams of Kenna and Audrey Faye Serls of Cleveland, OH; son David Nelson Serls II of Kenna; sisters Mary Bryant (Willie), Dreama Bryant (Wayne of Cleveland, OH, Karen Hoawthon (Joe) of Iowa; brother Everett Leon Casebolt; grandchildren, Randy, Matthew, Emily, Joseph, April, Lonnie, David, Joshua, and Breauna; great grandchildren, Destiny, Dalton, Desiree, Nick, Airanuna, Little Bob, Andrew, Randy II, Julian, Oliver, Emma and Ketha; great-great grandchildren, Presley, Briar, Lainey, Cyrus, Delilah, Darcy and Liam.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 am until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Serls Family Cemetery, Glen, Clay County, WV.
