Brenda Joyce Folden

Brenda Joyce Folden, 82, of Ravenswood passed away peacefully Monday, May 19, 2025 at Miletree Center in Spencer

Brenda was born July 6, 1942, a daughter of the late Donald Wilson and Helen Campbell. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a son Steven Wayne Wilson; grandson Justin Joe Hafer and brother Arnold Steve Bradley.

Following high school, Brenda enrolled in Parkersburg Beauty College and practiced as a beautician for over 30 years. Brenda’s greatest joy in life was bringing family and friends together and spreading happiness. She also enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards and shopping.

Brenda is survived by a son Billy Joe Thompson; grandchildren Amanda Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Chadrick Small, Shelby Small and Kameron Joe Thompson; 4 great grandchildren; sister Mert Valoff and brother Mike Bradley. She is also survived by her faithful poodle, Jewel.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Dennis Keefer officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
