Calvin D. Kelley

Calvin Dale Kelley, 66 of Ripley, passed away March 22, 2025 in Mountain View Care Center, Ripley, following an extended illness.

He was born February 28, 1959 at Fisher Ridge, Kenna, WV, son of the late Howard and Stella Harrison Kelley. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Calvin enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew. He enjoyed reading and when the internet came around, he enjoyed playing games on his tablet. He loved to help his family in any way he could.

He is survived by his sisters, Rachel Burgess and Jennifer McMorrow; nieces Laura Ridenour, Susanna Heaths and April Sambrano and nephew Dylan McMorrow; great nieces and nephews Wyatt Ridenour, Elizabeth Ridenour, Harley Williams and Jakobi Heaths.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ernestine Gail Kelley.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Evans Cemetery, Gay, WV with burial to follow after the service. Waybright Funeral Home is serving the family.
