Carlos D. James

Carlos D. James 66 of Spencer passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 following a long illness. He was born August 15, 1946 in West Virginia a son of the late Arthur and Gladys Horn James. He was a mechanic in the United States Army with 27 years of service. He is survived by his fiancee Mary Starcher with whom he loved to sing with; children Christopher James, Carla Kay Allison and Kimberlee Hodge; step children Tabatha Bigelow, Lori Lee Kenny, Bobbie Dawn Kenny, Chad Kenny, Misty Bise and Brandon Starcher; brother Eddie James; sister Sandy Reed and Juanita Bradway; Also survived by 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step daughter April Marie Starcher. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Friends may call two hours (11 am to 1 pm) prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial with Military Rites provided by American Legion Post 107, Ripley will be in the Siniaville Cemetery, Statts Mill.
