Carol Hilbert

Carol Sue Hilbert, 78, of Ripley, WV departed this life on December 25th, 2021 peacefully from her home, surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Bom on February 5, 1943. at Greenville, WV, she was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Vickers) Ellis. She was a home maker and of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Lloyd Alden Hilbert Jr. Two brothers: Donald Ray Ellis of Mallory, WV and Jerry Lee Ellis of Bruno, WV. Three special Brother-in-laws Weymouth "Pete" Adkins of Foster, WV, Vaughn Browning of Bruno, WV and Carl Wilson of Greensboro, NC. One Son-in-Law Charles Morawski of Dunbar, WV. Those left to love and cherish her memory are two daughters: Sheila Morawski of Dunbar, WV and Melody Hilbert of Ripley, WV and one son George (Brett) Hilbert of Ripley, WV. Two granddaughters: Brittani Allen of Ripley, WV and Brandy Howard of Ripley, WV. two grandsons: Tyler and Trenton Hilbert both of Ripley, WV. Two brothers: Victor (Dolly) Ellis of VA, and George (Carolyn) Ellis of Bruno, WV. Five sisters: Peggy Browning and Linda (Lesley) Cochran aid Naomi (Tommy) Dean all of Bruno, WV: Brenda (Rodney) Adkins of Davin. WV and Joan Adkins of Foster. WV. Four sister-in-laws: Dimple (Dwight) Layne of Mingo County. WV, Dana (Ray) Varney of Boone County, WV, Doris Pack of Chapmanville. WV and Lois Wilson of Greensboro. NC. Many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. As per her wishes her remains have been cremated. She will be buried at the Browning-Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno. Logan County. WV near her father. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held in the Spring, to be announced at a later time. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is assisting the family.
