Carolyn Sue Campbell

Carolyn Sue Campbell, 61, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 10, 2020 after her brief fight with cancer. Carolyn was a member of the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church. She served alongside her husband in Junior Church for 30 plus years. She gave her heart to Jesus and we rejoice in knowing that she is in Heaven with her Savior. During her life, Carolyn worked at Jackson General Hospital for 30 plus years in accounts receivable. She loved her job and all her co-workers at the hospital. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud “Grammy” and a selfless friend to all who knew her. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Neil of 31 years; her daughters Trinity (Derek) Kelley and Tori Campbell; her two granddaughters, Zoey and Finley Kelley; sister Sandra (Steve) Pursley; brother Dean (Rachel) Kay and her mother, Reva Kay. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Kay. Our family would like to thank the Staff at Camden Clark Medical Center for the wonderful care and comfort they provided to our family. A funeral service to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 13 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Waybright Family Cemetery, Tug Fork. In accordance with guidelines set in place by the State of WV a face covering will be required to attend the services.
