Carolyn V. Mahood

Carolyn Virginia Mahood, 71 of Ripley, passed away October 18, 2021 at Ravenswood Village following a long illness. She was born April 14, 1950, a daughter of the late Foley and Jessie Fields Price. She worked in Housekeeping at Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley. Carolyn enjoyed quilting, working puzzle books and taking care of her family. She is survived by her son Joey (Sandy) Mahood of Ravenswood; grandson Dakota Mahood and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sisters Crystal McMillion and Shirley Jean Haynes; brother James Price. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Siniaville Cemetery, Statts Mill. A time to visit with the family will be held from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Friday at the cemetery. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is serving the family.
