Carolyn Kay Westfall

Carolyn Kay Pelfrey Westfall, 71 of Ripley, passed away July 7, 2019 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV following a short illness. She was born May 4, 1948 in Hamlin, WV, a daughter of the late Wilson and Marie Casto Pelfrey. She was a homemaker, dedicated wife and mother and loved to bake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Westfall; brother Marion Leon Pelfrey and sister Rebecca Pelfrey. She is survived by her son, Lesley Raymond Young of East Palestine, OH; brothers Woodrow Pelfrey and Henry Pelfrey; grandchildren Lyndsey Young, Jason Rhodes, Sarah Board, Joe Rexroad and Nicole Stewart and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Given, WV.
