Carolyn M. Wheeler

Carolyn M. Wheeler, 76 of Leroy, went to be with the Lord suddenly on January 17, 2018 at her home. She was born January 27, 1941 in Kanawha County, a daughter of the late William and Truly Pearl Bailey Lovett. She was a devoted Christian and member of the Ripley Church of Christ. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and scrapbooking. She is survived by her children, Steve Wheeler of Ripley, Stanley (Janice) Wheeler of Given, Sharon (Dean) Garrett of Ripley, Sandra (Steve) Belcher of Gay and Stacey (Kathy) Wheeler of Ripley; half-brother William Lovett of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Brian Belcher, Stephanie (Asa) Belcher, Samantha (Coty) Belcher and Kayden Belcher, Randall Richards, Jessica Wheeler (Jason) Shantie, Justin Wheeler, Jonathan (Caitlyn) Garrett and Ty Garrett. Also survived by nine great grandchildren Alaina Shantie, Conard Hudnall, Macie Bess, Bentley Bess, Barrett Bess, Kreed Belcher, Eden Belcher, Lilly Burdette and Arianna Richards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Wheeler; a brother, Buford Leon Lovett and a half- sister Linda Lovett. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Ripley Church of Christ, Jackson Ave., Ripley with Keenan Goosman officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
