Carroll Massey

Carroll (Beverlin) Massey, 81, of Ripley, W.Va., went home to be with Jesus on June 18th, 2026, after a long list of illnesses.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Donald Massey Sr.; sister, Betty Botkin (Bill-deceased) of Chesapeake, W.Va.; and brother, Rick Beverlin (Beth) of Seng Creek W.Va. She is also survived by her sons, Donald Massey Jr. (Tracy) of Hernshaw W.Va., Thomas Massey (Tina) of Pleasant Garden NC; daughter, Pamela Jarvis of Ripley, W.Va.; 5 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Catherine Beverlin, both of Whitesville, W.Va.; brother, Jack Beverlin (Deloris) of Florida; sisters, Shirley Lowe (John Marlow) (Fred Lowe) of Arizona, Gaynell Walker (Larry) of Seng Creek W.Va.; and grandson Thomas Massey III of Summersville, W.Va.

She dedicated her whole life in serving the Lord and was a faithful woman of God with a heart of gold. She loved her family and she had many friends. She will be deeply missed by all her family, friends, and all whose life she touched.

There will be a service held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11a.m. in the Mausoleum at Pineview Cemetery in Orgas, W.Va. for the family, with Pastor David Johnston officiating.
