Catherine "Pat" Cochran

Catherine L. “Pat” Cochran, 84, of Liberty went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin L. Cochran; parents, Alice and Otmer Cochran; and sisters Chloe Penwell, Mattie “Marie” Cochran, Mary “Peg” Belcher, Lucy Reed, and Wilma Vance. She is survived her children Kathy (Billy) Kersey of Liberty, Jeff (Greta) Cochran of Kenna, David (Belinda) Cochran of Ripley, Galen Cochran and Vonda Cochran both of Liberty; grandchildren Brian (Crystal) Cochran, Amanda (Paul) Babbitt, Timothy (Heather) Kersey, Jessica Cochran, April (Brad) Garnes, Matthew Cochran and Nicole Stanley; step grandchildren Tracy Kersey, Curtis Raines, and Elizabeth Godbey; great grandchildren Austin, Brandon and Carter Cochran, Dalton and Emily Jones, Hannah and Gavin Kersey, Sophia and Olivia Garnes, Lillian and Carolina Stevens, and Paisley Stanley; 11 step great grandchildren and 1 step great-great grandchild. A special niece Elisa Caldwell, her son Drew (Heather) and their children Temperance and Lillian and many other extended family members. Thank you to Marcelene and Royal Starcher for their love and continued visits. Also, thanks to Sharon and the staff of Your Family Restaurant and the staff at Hubbard Hospice House. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, November 20, 2017, at Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley, WV with Anthony Cochran officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Given, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House by sending donations to 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
