Charles T. Frum

Charles “Chuck” T. Frum, 79 of Ripley, formerly of West Union, passed away January 18, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. He was born October 11, 1939 in Smithburg, WV, son of Delmus Michael and Ethel Jean Stanard Frum. He attended West Union High School where he played football and graduated from Gilmore High School in Sandyville, WV. He was a United States Marine Veteran and a member of the Marine Corp. League. Chuck loved working and was self-employed for 42 years. He loved cooking and watching all sports. He was a Baptist by Faith. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet Harpold Frum, daughter Beverly Angus and husband Randal of Sandyville and son Jayson Frum and wife Jennifer of Chesapeake Beach, MD; sisters Susie Fredrick of Weston and Ann Jennings of Irving, TX. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Charles T. Frum Jr.; a brother, Richard Frum and a sister, Jeanie Ertell. In honoring his wishes he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Military Rites will be provided by the Marine Corp. League, Walter Mann Detachment following the service. Inurnment will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service (1 pm to 2 pm) on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in memory of Chuck to Jackson County Hospice, c/o Kanawha Hospice, 1606 Kanawha Blvd W, Charleston, WV 25387.
