Charles Landis, 88 of Kenna passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Jackson General Hospital. He was born October 20, 1923 at a son of the late Sam Landis and the late Susy Fields Landis . He Army veteran and a self employed timberman. He is survived by 2 sons - Delmis Gene Landis and his wife April of Kenna, WV, Sammy D Landis and his wifePatty of Kenna, WV; brother - Frank Landis of Ona, WV;4 grandsons - Ricky Landis, Chuck Landis,Jason Landis and Eddie Eskew; 3 granddaughters - Misty Smith, Shana Holderby, Chrystal Patterson; 23great-grandchildren. Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Billy Casto officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery, Kenna.
