Charles O. Randolph

Charlie Randolph, 73, of Ripley, passed from a life filled with love and happiness on Sunday morning, June 1, 2014. He was born at Ripley on January 14, 1941, son of the late Rudie R. and Glenva Morris Randolph. He was a 1958 graduate of Ripley High School and the 1962 class of West Virginia Tech, where he graduated with honors. After college, Charlie worked for the U.S. General Accounting Office and the Federal Home Loan Bank Board in Washington, DC, Kaiser Aluminum in Ravenswood and retired from the Cabot Corporation in Charleston. He was an honorary member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants after 40 consecutive years of AICPA membership. The one driving passion in Charlie's life was the love for his family and friends. Charlie is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Randolph and son Rodd R. Randolph and Weiner Dog Ollie, all of Ripley; Daughter, Niki D. Randolph of South Charleston; Sister, Jean Randolph Davis (Steve), of Pax, WV. He was preceded in death by his beloved Weiner Dog, Jordan. A funeral service celebrating the life of Charlie Randolph will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Dee Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Parsons Cemetery, Gay WV. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from Noon until 2 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.waybrightfuneralhome.com.
