Charles E. Starcher

Charles Everett Starcher, 85 of Sandyville, went to join his wife and son in Heaven on November 20, 2018. He passed away at Hubbard Hospice House, West. He was born October 10, 1933 in Arnoldsburg, Calhoun County, a son of the late Everett and Eva Lynch Starcher. He was a Navy Veteran and served in Guam during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Salt Hill Church in Ripley and loved to spend time with his family and Hunt and Fish. He was a devoted husband of 58 years to his wife Roberta Starcher whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, William Clair Starcher; a sister, Frankie Prine and brothers, Harold and Doyle Starcher. He is survived by a son, Dexter Starcher and his wife Sandy of Danville; a sister, Becky Hardway of Elmira, WV; grandchildren Colin Metz, Cholee Berry and Kassie Ball and great grandchildren Laura Metz and Luke Berry. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm (Noon) on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Gibson Cemetery, Calhoun County with Pastor David Fields officiating. The funeral procession will meet at the Arnoldsburg Community Park at 11;30 am Saturday to Depart to the Cemetery. A time of visitation will be on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 5 to 8 pm at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley.
