Charlotte Ann Fields, 65, of Kenna, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Thomas Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born March 31, 1948 at Campbell's Creek, daughter of the late Howard and Delores Kerwood Bostic. She attended Miami University and retired as a licensed practical nurse. Charlotte was a Christian and a member of the United Gospel Mission in Charleston. In addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Carl Fields, great-granddaughter April and two sisters. Surviving: Sons, Ronald Locke (Carrie) of St. Albans, Donald Fields of Elkview and Clarence Fields of Sod; Daughters, Sue Young (Sam) of Kenna and Jeanette Young (Jason) of Cross Lanes; Sister, Virginia Sneed (Dude), of Homestead, Florida; Grandchildren, Samuel, Orville, Mathew, Drake, Brode, Josh, Joey, Bailey, Wayne, Ashley, Missy, Candy, Terri, Mary Jane, Cheyenne, Tiana and Keshia; Great-grandchildren, Kris, Lilly, T.J., Hope, Brandon, Brianna, Jessie, Robert, Cullen and Baby Girl. A celebration of the life of Charlotte Fields will be Monday, March 24, 2014 at Noon at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastors Marvin Welsh and John Mason officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Emma Chapel Cemetery in Putnam County. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
