Charlotte Spaulding

Charlotte Gayle Spaulding, 82 of Ripley, passed away April 15, 2026 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg following an extended illness.

Charlotte was born August 20, 1943 in Ashland, Kentucky, daughter of the late James and Ada Odessa Barnett Spaulding. She was a 1962 graduate of Ripley High School and worked at the Alpine Restaurant in Ripley. She enjoyed Puzzles and was an avid reader. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame and Tiger Woods.

She is survived by her sisters, Jimma Diane Spaulding Raines and Sheila Spaulding Parker; nephews and nieces, Ernie (Carey) Raines, Chris (Alma) Parker, Danny (Kerri) Parker, Robbie (Julie) Parker, Karla Keyser Johnson. Sheree Williamson and Michael Keyser.

In addition to her parents,, she was preceded in death by a sister Donna Leigh Keyser.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday April 20, 2026 at the Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville where family members will celebrate Charlotte’s life.
