Cheryl L. D'Allesandro

Cheryl Lynn D’Allesandro, 73 of Millwood, passed away August 19, 2024 at her home.

She was born June 11, 1951 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Warren and Wanda McAvoy Cunningham. She was a 1969 graduate of Ripley High School and obtained her teaching degree at Glenville State College. She lived in Texas for several years and worked as Utilization Review Coordinator for Life Insurance Companies. She cared for animals and loved her cats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Mike D’Allesandro and Fred Greenlief.

She is survived by her brother, Bruce Cunningham; step daughter Lisa Kerns; niece Tasha Miller and great niece Makayla and great nephew, Eric.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryl’s memory should be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 86 County Farm Rd, Cottageville, WV 25239 or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1 Children's Plaza, 2 W, Dayton, OH 45404.
