Christopher Lee Mills

Christopher Lee Mills, 29, of Ripley passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 after complications from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was born December 19, 1987 in Charleston, WV a son of Greg Mills and Michele Carney Mills. Chris loved to hunt and had a passion for motorcycles and was a member of the American Motorcycle Association where he participated in many hillclimb events. In addition to his parents he is survived by brother Taylor Mills of Ripley; Half-Brother Sean Flegle of Ripley; Step-Brother Zachary Ray of Ripley; Maternal grandmother Louella McPhail; Paternal grandmother Sharon Mills; Nieces Lexy Flegle, Lillian Mills, and Chloe Mills; Aunts and Uncles Marsha and Guy McDonald of Ripley and Beth and Barry Shaver of Portland, OH; Cousins Brittney Stewart of Ripley David Shaver and Kelly Shaver of Portland, OH. He is also survived by longtime companion Miranda Long. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather R.D Carney and paternal grandfather Roscoe Mills. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Tom Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
