Christopher Wayne Steele 45 of Ripley WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 2, 2022 He was born at Jackson General Hospital on October 18, 1976 to Rick and Teresa Steele. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Derick Hudson of Pax, WV. His daughters Hannah and Lindsay Steele of Ripley, WV. Two Granddaughters Layla and Aviah Hudson. One sister Christy Bigley (Shaun), Hailey (niece), Chase (nephew) and Payton (niece) of Locust Grove, Va. Grandparents Dwaine and Frances Steele of Given, WV. Don and Betty Shelton of Ripley, WV. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He loved fishing and being on the water. However, nothing made him happier than being with his children and celebrating family. “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭1:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬ In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the family to help with final expenses. A funeral service to celebrate Christopher’s life will be held 3 p.m Monday, January 10th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
