Claudia Jorgenson

Claudia Christine Jorgensen, 49, of Gandeeville, passed away at her home Saturday afternoon following an extended illness. Claudia was born May 13, 1964 at Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert E. McKay and Christine Nowlin McKay. Christine was a graduate of Davis and Elkins College and a lifelong homemaker. Her main interest, in addition to her family, was her horses. Surviving: Her husband of 25 years, Michael Jorgensen; Sons, Adam Scott Jorgensen and Andrew Michael Jorgensen, both at home; Brother, Scott McKay of Maryland. In addition to her father, Claudia was preceded in death by one brother, Robert McKay. A celebration of the life of Claudia Jorgensen will be held Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Justin Simmons officiating. Interment will follow the service at the family cemetery on Vicar's Ridge.
