Clifton Harlan Boggess

Clifton Harlan Boggess Jr., 70 of Leroy, WV passed away December 6, 2020 at his home. He was born April 19, 1950 in Sandyville, WV, a son of the late Clifton and Virginia Dunham Boggess. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a Painter and other Construction Jobs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Lura Stout, Charles Boggess, Cecil Boggess, Evon Sue Hamrick, Roger N. Boggess and Sandra Barres. He is survived by his children, Melinda Boggess, Matthew Boggess and Nathan Boggess all of Logan, OH, Clifton H. Boggess of Mansfield, OH and Stephanie Boggess Agelotoulos of Canton, OH; siblings, Irene June Hill of PA, Carolyn Love and Linda Compton both of Mansfield, OH, Helen Watkins of Logan, OH, Rodney Boggess of Indiana and David Boggess of Ravenswood; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and a lot of good friends. He will be missed by all. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown, WV. Military Rites provided by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the US Army Burial Detail from Camp Dawson, WV. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.
