Connie Mitchell-Joe

Connie Mitchell-Joe of Ripley, WV went to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She passed away at Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.

She was born April 24, 1969, in Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the daughter of Harvey O. Mitchell and Patricia Dahmer Mitchell.

Connie was a 1987 graduate of Ripley High School. She went to WVU Tech and received her nursing degree.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother Harvey O. Mitchell Jr. of Huntsville, AL; a nephew, Quinn Mitchell of Huntsville, AL; a niece, Amelia Mitchell of Huntsville, AL; and a number of cousins.

A private graveside service and internment will be held in Pendleton County, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church at 299 North Church Street, Ripley, WV 25271.
