Crystal Kaye Kelly

Crystal Kaye Kelly, 69, of Ripley passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg. She was born May 6, 1951 in Boone County, a daughter of the late Frank James and Cosby Alice Hicks Smith. Momma or Mamaw Kaye as she was affectionately known to so many was a homemaker who loved to take care of her grandbabies and also enjoyed taking care of her birds. She is survived by Sons John Lafferty Jr., Christopher Bryan Lafferty, Scott Allen Lafferty, and Daniel Morales; Daughter Rhonda Dunmire (Harlen Campbell); grandchildren Andrea Shea Lafferty, Jarod Rowan Lafferty, Michelle Renee Girard, Harley Max Shostak (Olivia), Jazmyne Rose Lafferty (Daniel Rairden), Hunter Devon Lee Lafferty, Jakob Scott Lafferty, Louis Michael Lynn, Anna Kaye Morales, Christina Nicole Morales, William Lafferty, and Amillia Lafferty; great-grandchildren David Christopher Chambers, Christopher Bryan Chambers, Tyler Lafferty, Heath Wyatt Shostak, Harmony Kaye Shostak and Kamillia Kaye Rairden; brothers Larry and Bethel Smith and sister Judy Hartley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the love of her life Lewis Michael Morales; brothers Adrian Smith, Herman Smith and Youvon Smith; sisters Betty Barrickman, Audrey Smith, Varlene Smith and Olivine Harless. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Keith. In honoring her wishes Crystal will be cremated with no further services at this time.
