Crystal M. Thomas

Crystal Mae Thomas, 95 of Washington, WV passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at Worthington Manor in Parkersburg following a long illness. She was born March 7, 1918 at Jackson County a daughter of the late Otha and Ina Thomas Price. She was a Christian and Homemaker that loved to Quilt and Garden. She attended the Gospel Tabernacle in Parkersburg most recently. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years William Ervil Thomas whom died in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Rebecca Mangus; brothers Darrell, Ronald and Clarven Price and Sisters Melva Carpenter, Vonda Price and Ermalee Rhodes. She is survived by sons Larry A. Thomas and his wife Julia of Washington and Forrest N. Thomas and his wife Shirley of Ripley; daughter Joyce Mangus and her husband Delmas of Washington; sister Orpha Casto of Nitro; grandchildren Janelle Thomas, Richard Thomas, Kristina Whiteaker, Michael Thomas and Jeanette Mangus and six great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors Wayne Boone and Jeff Williamson officiating. Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
