Curtis K. Rhodes
October 6, 1950 — October 17, 2024
Curtis K. Rhodes, 74 of Ripley, passed away October 17, 2024 at Roane General Hospital, Spencer, following a short illness.
He was born October 6, 1950 at Statts Mill, son the late Otis and Evadeen Anderson Rhodes. He worked as an equipment operator for Kanawha Stone, Lang Brothers and Mountaineer Grading. He enjoyed being on his farm and being with family.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sherry Konermann Rhodes; children Michael (Kylie) Rhodes and Rachel (Gordon) Rhodes; brothers Garry Rhodes (Patty), and Larry Rhodes (Patty); sisters Sharon Frazier and Kim Hart (Billy); grandchildren, Brianna, Brice, Sophie and Lucas.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother Kenneth Rhodes and brother-in-law, Chuck Frazier.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Rhodes Family Cemetery on Price Ridge Road, Kenna with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating.
